Subzones (Driver App)

Here, you learn how to use Subzones within the GroundCloud Driver app.

Note: Subzones can also be created and edited from your manager portal.

Subzones allow you to place features on the map to help give directions.

This feature is helpful for:

  • Stops with multiple buildings using the same address

  • Entry gate locations and codes

  • Military bases

  • Recognizing landmarks

  • Loading dock locations

  • Anything—they're fully customizable

Create a Subzone

  1. Log in to the GroundCloud app.

  2. Click on the Subzones tab from the side menu.

  3. To add a new feature set, click on the Search Icon at the top of the screen.

  4. Then input the desired address and click Search.

  5. Click the +ADD button from the dropdown.

  6. Drag the corners of the feature into place on your map.

  7. Click the EDIT button to adjust the label of the feature.

  8. Press Save.

When the feature is set, click NEW to add another feature or click anywhere on the map to unselect the current feature. Features can be edited or deleted by touching them to select.

Once placed, they show on your My Drive navigation whenever a stop appears at or near the address they are associated with.

The dropdown at the top of your Subzones page shows all the created Subzones. You can place up to 100 features in each set. You can:

  • Select them from this list to view each

  • Swipe left on them from this list to edit their name.
