Follow these steps to see and pull any PV 360/4K VEDR footage.
You can still request footage from your GroundCloud portal, but this method gives you direct access to the camera footage in longer segments.
Download the Waylens Fleet app (pictured below) to any mobile device (Apple or Android).
Gather the SSID and Password off of the unit in question.
Turn on the camera. (The camera must remain on while the footage is retrieved.)
-
Open the WiFi settings on your mobile device (iPhone/Android).
Connect to the WiFi network with the same name as the SSID or S/N as the camera.
Enter the Password listed on the device as the WiFi password.
Open the Waylens Fleet app and select Camera (bottom middle option).
You are then logged into the PV unit and have access to the files on the SD card.
-
Select the time stamp on the left column, or you can touch the image on the right column.
A highlight with a red border displays.
You are shown a screen where you can "zoom in/out". This screen is where the time frame you need is found.
If you zoom in, you get shortened time frames.
If you zoom out, you get longer time frames.
You then have the option to Save to Album Only or Export to Photo Library.
Once the file is saved to a mobile device, look in your Photos app (or in the location where you saved it). From there, you can email the footage to be opened on a laptop or desktop.
