GroundCloud Optimization

The aim of this option is to minimize the route duration so the driver can finish their day at the earliest hour possible. This option includes service times in the total route duration.

Time windows are supported in this option even when priority zones are used.

This means that when a stop has a time commitment, it is temporarily excluded from zone-based sequencing so it can be routed according to its required delivery/pickup time, rather than its geographic or shelf grouping.

Aiming to execute the time committed stops on time.

Once the time-sensitive stop is completed, the driver returns to their previous zone sequence and usually continues.

GroundCloud Shelf Zones

This option considers the placement of packages on shelves and sequences the routes in a way that the driver gets to deliver packages from the front shelf first, moving their way towards the back shelf as the day goes along. This option includes service times in the total route duration.

Time windows are supported in this option as well.

This means that when a stop has a time commitment, it is temporarily excluded from shelf-zone sequencing so it can be routed according to its required delivery/pickup time, rather than its geographic or shelf grouping.

Aiming to execute the time committed stops on time.

Once the time-sensitive stop is completed, the driver returns to their previous zone sequence and usually continues.

Follow Manifest Row Order

This option sorts stops based on the manifest sequence.

Follow the SID Order

This option sorts stops based on ascending Shelf ID (SID).
