Mobile Asset Tracking allows you to manage and keep track of your mobile devices (tablets) enrolled in the GroundCloud Mobile Device Management platform.

Mobile Assets

The Mobile Assets page provides a summary of your devices with the following information:

Device Name: Name of the device. This item is set to a serial number by default but can be changed by clicking on the View Details link.
Serial Number: Serial number of the device.
App Version: Current version of the Driver App installed on the device.
OS Version: Current version of the device’s operating system.
Details: Link to Mobile Asset Details page.

At the top of the page, you can filter to view Active or All devices. For the purposes of this test, all devices are marked Active.

Note: For a device to appear on this page:

It needs to run iOS version 1.4.13.909 (or later)
It needs to run Android version 1.3.9.1 (or later)
It must be logged in to following enrollment in MDM

Mobile Asset Details

Click View Details to open the Mobile Asset Details page for a device, which will display individual device information.

Click Edit Mobile Asset to change the device's name. Name changes are tied to your portal for ease of identifying devices; changes are not reflected on the device itself.

Mobile Asset Logs show the device's login history—the name of the last driver to log in with a time stamp.
