Adding a Driver Profile


Creating a Driver Account

  1. Log into GroundCloud.io as a Fleet Manager or Owner.

  2. Go to the Drivers page.


  3. Click + Add Driver in the upper-right corner.

  4. Enter the driver’s information:

    • Username (required)

    • First Name (required)

    • Last Name (required)

    • Password (required)

    • Phone Number and Email (optional, used for notifications).

  5. Click Create Driver.

  6. The driver can now log into the GroundCloud® Driver App and GroundCloud.io using the assigned credentials.


Editing a Driver Profile

  1. Log into GroundCloud.io.

  2. Go to the Drivers page.

  3. Click the driver’s name.

  4. Click Edit in the top-right corner.


  5. Make the necessary changes and click Submit.


Enabling Lock UI

Lock UI prevents interactions with the app while the vehicle is in motion. This can be enabled for individual drivers or applied to all drivers.


Enabling Lock UI for an Individual Driver

  1. Log into GroundCloud.io.

  2. Go to the Drivers tab.

  3. Click the driver’s name.


  4. Click Settings.


  5. Scroll to the bottom and toggle Lock UI to Yes.


Enabling Lock UI for All Drivers

  1. Log into GroundCloud.io.

  2. Go to Settings.

  3. Under UI Locking Mode, select Always lock application UI when the vehicle is moving.

  4. Set the speed threshold for UI locking.




  5. Click Submit.


Enabling Sequence Lock

Sequence Lock prevents drivers from reordering their delivery route.

  1. Go to the Drivers tab.

  2. Click the driver’s name.

  3. Click Edit.

  4. Uncheck Driver can reorder route sequence.


  5. Click Submit.


Restricted Actions with Sequence Lock Enabled

  • Priority Zones

  • Manifest Reordering

  • Manual Route Mode

  • Mark as Next Stop

  • Deleting Stops


Assigning Onboarding Training

Drivers can be enrolled in P&D Safety Certification training for ARC compliance.


  1. Enable the training option when creating a driver account.

  2. The driver can access the course by logging into GroundCloud.io.

  3. If a mobile number is listed, the driver will receive a text notification with the training link.

  4. Drivers can access training on any device with internet access.


  5. Track completion on the Training Courses page.
