Blank Route Day Creation

Blank Route Days activate unused routes so that they can be assigned to a driver, even if that route has nothing on its manifest for the day.

To create a Blank Route Day:

1. Log in to GroundCloud.io.

2. Go to the Routes tab.

3. Click on the Work Area Name of the desired route. The route does need to already exist, so if you need to create a new or dummy route, see this article to create one manually.
   
   

4. Click Create Route Day in the upper right.
   
   

It's as easy as that! You should receive this notification:


Now that the route is active for the day, you can assign a driver and add stops to it.

1. Add stops manually from your portal.

2. Add stops manually from the Driver App.

3. Scan packages to add stops.

4. Transfer stops from another route.
