Control how routes are assigned to drivers in the Driver App.
Configuring Route Assignment Settings
To configure how routes are assigned:

Open Account > Settings.
Scroll to the Route Assignment section.

Select one of the following options from the dropdown menu:
Only managers can assign routes
Drivers can choose any unassigned route to deliver
Drivers can choose an already-assigned route
Click Save.
Once a route is assigned, the manifest and stop information are loaded into the Driver App, and the driver can begin the route.
Route Assignment Options
Only managers can assign routes
Use this option to restrict route assignment to Fleet Managers.
When selected:
Fleet Managers assign routes from the portal or mobile app.
Drivers cannot change their assigned route in the Driver App.
When drivers log in, the assigned route automatically loads with all manifest and stop information.
Drivers can choose any unassigned route to deliver
Use this option to allow drivers to select from available routes.
When selected:
Drivers log in to the Driver App without a preloaded route unless a manager already assigned one.
Drivers tap Change on the Dashboard to open the route selection list.
Drivers only see routes that have not been assigned to another driver.
Drivers can switch to another unassigned route at any time.
When a driver selects a route, the manifest and stop information load immediately.
Drivers can choose an already-assigned route
Use this option to allow drivers to take over any route.
When selected:
Drivers log in to the Driver App without a preloaded route unless a manager already assigned one.
Drivers tap Change on the Dashboard to open the route selection list.
Drivers can select any route, even if it is already assigned to another driver.
Selecting an already assigned route removes it from the current driver and transfers the manifest and stop information to the new driver.
When a driver selects a route, the manifest and stop information load immediately.
